After a public call for tenders, CyberStream was assigned a contract from the Municipality of Karditsa for the project «eGovernment Portal for a Citizen Relationship Management System».

The project is designed to procure the hardware, system software and applications for the implementation of an e-Government Portal or Citizen Relationship Management system (CRM). The municipality portal will publish information on activities and services available to citizens, enterprises and visitors, host generic information about the district (e.g. city guide, sports and cultural events, monuments, etc.), as well as a portfolio of useful tools. Custom made applications on the portal will handle electronic transactions, such as the online acquisition of municipality certificates, calculation and payment of municipal taxes as well as submission of requests and complaints. The portal will be a one-stop-shop for services addressed to citizens.

The system is expected to improve services by the Municipality of Karditsa to its citizens as it will support both generic and personalized content, send e-mail notifications, and execute transactions with various back-end systems.

The project has a total duration of six months. CyberStream is exploring state of the art tools for the development of the system, such as Content Management System (CMS), Workflow Management System (WMS) and Document Management applications and provides high end infrastructure equipment from leading IT vendors.
