An extended wireless network, using MESH Topology

CyberStream has been assigned a public contract by the Municipality of Galatsi to implement a broadband network, to cover the widest possible area within its borders. The users of the network will have access to advanced broadband sevices, such as information and applications from the municipality portal and access to the Internet.

Innovative caracteristics of the network include the adoption of MESH topology, the exploitation of Wi-Fi and Wimax technologies, as well as the classified access of users to services and applications. Finally, extended communication actions will be designed and implemented for the broadband services provided by the Municipality of Galatsi, thus ensuring the widest possible dissemination of the results of the project and the use of the implemented services by an extensive number of end users.

The project has a timeframe of three months and a total budget of approximately 300.000,00 €.
